Nene Valley Railway - Mixed Traffic Steam Gala - 2014

The Nene Valley Railway held their annual Steam Gala on 13th/14th September 2014, naming it the 'Mixed Traffic Gala'. The Saturday was based on 'Memories of The Somerset and Dorset' and Sunday was based on 'Reflections of Steam Long Lost' with 73050 having no nameplate all weekend, being numbered 73000 (the prototype Standard 5MT) and the weekend being its final running days before major overhaul. 92212 was renumbered to 92199 on Sunday as well. The locos attending the gala were: 60163 'Tornado', 92212, 73050 'City of Peterborough', S160 6046 and 22. Shots from the gala include off shed departures, Wansford, Castor, Mill Lane, Lynches Bridge, Ferry Meadows, FM Yacht Club Crossing, Longuville Junction, Sugar Beat and Peterborough NVR. It was good to meet up with Jack (SteamyJack), Hayden (HomeMoviePerson), Jules (Jules46443) and Jason (34027), as well as many other enthusiasts!
