Freedom Happens Together

It’s easy to think of freedom as something personal, something we figure out on our own. But the Torah keeps reminding us that real freedom doesn’t work that way. From the opening words of Vayikra to the way we gather around the Seder table on Passover, freedom is something we experience together, through connection, community, and showing up for one another.
As we get ready for Passover, we’re not just cleaning our homes and preparing for the Seder. We’re being invited to think about who we’re sharing it with, who might need an invitation, and how we can create a space of belonging. Because in Jewish life, freedom isn’t just about leaving something behind, it’s about building something together. True freedom happens when we don’t go through it alone.
