Tenodesis Grasp and Release Explained | Quadriplegic (C5,C6,C7)

Tenodesis is a term that can be difficult to understand what it actually is. Tenodesis grasp and release is the movement of the wrist to open and close fingers. Wrist extension causes the fingers and hand to close for grasping. Wrist flexion causes the fingers and hand to open for releasing. In this video, I explain what tenodesis is, what tenodesis looks like, what tenodesis is used for, why you would need to use tenodesis, and I show you how I use tenodesis to do different things.
