Medications after Spinal Cord Injury | Quadriplegic (C5,C6,C7)

After suffering from a spinal cord injury, the number of medications can be overwhelming! When I got home, after getting out of the hospital, I was taking 15+ medications. Luckily, I have gotten off most of those medications. It's a good idea to get off as many medications as possible. In this video, talk about the medications that I now take and the reasons for taking them.

List of medications that I take:
(0:43) Senna Plus - Stool softener to make it come out easier.
(1:17) Bisacodyl Suppositories - Helps get things moving for a bowel movement (bowel program).
(2:44) Myrbetriq - Relaxes muscle that surrounds the bladder and increases the bladder's ability to hold urine, preventing bladder spasms.
(5:00) Calcium - Helps keep bones strong.
(5:00) Vitamin D3 - Helps the body to absorb calcium.
(6:46) Cranberry - Helps prevent from getting urinary tract infections (UTI's).
(8:02) Ester-C - Helps the immune system, which is weak for individuals with spinal cord injuries.

List of medications that I mention but no longer take:
(8:55) Baclofen - Helps prevent muscle spasms.
(9:45) Gabapentin - Helps with nerve pain.
