Grand Canyon West Rim Bus Tour with iTravel USA from Las Vegas - I totally freaked out
This trip to Grand Canyon was a total must-do on our trip to Las Vegas, it was the most expensive activity we did during our trip. Grand Canyon West tour with iTravel USA was amazing but I totally freaked out at Guano Point. I couldn't believe they didn't have barriers at a place where 12 people a year die. I don't have fear of heights, but I don't' like the feeling of danger dangled in front of my face. Ray and the kids seemed very comfortable standing on the edge of the canyon. I freaked out so much that I didn't speak to Ray and the kids for the rest of the day. I do freak out easily, check out the Santa Monica video I made, I really wanted to go on the Pacific Park Ferris Wheel and totally freaked out when I was on top because I realised the doors were not actually totally locked.
Anyway if you are not easily freaked out the trip is amazing. Grand Canyon is definitely amazing. iTravel USA tour guide was amazing.
Here is some info about the trip Itinerary:
Depart Vegas: 5:40AM-6:30AM
Hoover Dam Overlook (20 – minute – stop)
Enjoy a brief stop on the O’Callaghan-Tillman bypass bridge overlooking the famous Hoover Dam for photo opportunities.
Joshua Tree Forest
Travel through a 900-year-old Joshua Tree Forest. One of the largest and densest in the world!
Arrive at Grand Canyon West (around 9:30 am)
Eagle Point
In the old days, the most thrilling view you could get of the Grand Canyon came standing at its edge. In 2007, that view got even better with the opening of the Skywalk at Eagle Point. This 10-foot-wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extends 70 feet out over the rim of the Canyon. Look down and you can see right through the glass platform 4,000 feet to the floor of the Canyon below. Profiled by the National Geographic Channel, The Today Show, and CNN, this engineering marvel offers unparalleled views of one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders.
Guano Point
One of the most dramatic viewpoints in all the Grand Canyon, this location is anything but a quick stop. Be sure to watch where you step because many areas do not have railings.
Hualipai Ranch
Hualapai Ranch offers wagon rides, an animatronic Shootin’ Gallery, and free magic and gunfight shows. Horseback rides are available for purchase on-site at Hualapai Ranch
We purchased our vouchers via Groupon but here is the link to the actual tour we selected. This is not sponsored https://www.itravelusa.net/tour/grand-canyon-and-hoover-dam-bus-tour-from-las-vegas/
