MARIE'S POWERS ARE CRAZY NOW!!! FIRST TIME WATHINC GEN V 2x5!! Tessa (Mama’s Geeky) is back with her reaction to Gen V Season 2 Episode 5, and this episode pulled no punches! After the chaos of Episode 4, things at Godolkin University spiral even further out of control with shocking betrayals, gruesome deaths, and game-changing reveals that push the story closer to its breaking point. I was shocked when Marie, Emma, and Jordan decided to actually help Cate (even if it ended up doing them no good and got them trapped in Elmira too!). My mind was BLOWN when Marie's sister was brought into the picture and when Marie realized she could use her power to literally bring her back from the dead! WHAT!!! CRAZY!! Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Emma (Lizze Broadway, The Rookie), Jordan Li (London Thor & Derek Luh), Sam (Asa Germann), and Cate (Maddie Phillips, Teenage Bounty Hunters) all go through it this episode. The memory of Andre (Chance Perdomo) continues to loom large, as the show pays tribute to both him and his legacy. Meanwhile, Hamish Linklater (Midnight Mass, Legion) delivers another chilling performance as Dean Cipher, pulling strings in ways that left me absolutely creeped out. Episode 5 had me gasping, covering my eyes, and yelling at the screen. From brutal fight scenes to twisted Godolkin experiments, it’s everything we expect from a series in The Boys universe: over-the-top gore, razor-sharp satire, and heartbreaking character moments.
