In this video I show how to check a car battery, how to check an alternator and how to check a vehicle's charging system. Automotive Alternator Battery and Charging System Testing. Checking a car's alternator and battery can usually be done with a voltmeter (DVOM) and is a good DIY project. Although the vehicle in this video was a Lexus/Toyota, most of these checks can be done on many other makes and models. The exact vehicle in this video was a 2006 Lexus RX330. Enjoy!
