A week in Skopelos - Summer 2020

This summer we visited the island of Skopelos, one of most unique and true to its origins islands in Greece.
Located in Sporades ,a group of 24 islands in the northwest of Aegean, Skopelos is the Greenest island in Greece with over 80% of it covered in pined forest.
The island became well known from the blockbuster movie “Mama Mia!”.
The impact was huge but it didn’t alter the mindset of locals who didn’t see it as an opportunity to make a ton of money or alternating the island’s look and feel.

During our stay, we enjoyed the most amazing crystal clear waters and beaches with trees on rocks, mesmerizing sunsets, amazing food and delicious cocktails.
The locals are oh so polite and happy that made us feel right at home.
The kayaking experience was an exceptional ending to this relaxing time off the busy streets of the city.
