Fossil hunting hike day 1: Bucket list find!

Craig and I head off on an overnight fossil hunting trip to get to some areas of coast line that don't often see people. We were hoping that these areas would have fossils that we hadn't found before and we didn't really need an excuse to explore new areas!

I find one of the fossils that have been on my bucket list for quite a while now. You will see me find it towards the end of the video.

The video from Day 2 is coming soon in which Craig discovers something amazing!

We ended up walking from 11am till 9:30pm and had to sleep in a small cove as we couldn't get to the camp spot we had identified on Google Earth.

At least I didn't end up sharing my sleeping bag with a grumpy seal!
