From Rugby Player to Quadriplegic Mountain Climber | Ed Jackson

Meet Ed Jackson, the paralysed rugby pro who now climbs mountains.

In 2017 Ed Jackson dived into his friend's swimming pool, crashing his head at the bottom – an impact so severe that the disk between his C6 and C7 vertebrae (the two at the bottom of the neck) had exploded and dislocated, cutting through half of his spinal cord. He was told he would never be able to walk again.

The former rugby player talks about his incredible recovery journey after spinal cord injury, his struggles and how to maintain a positive mindset no matter what life throws at you.
