NFlightCam Founder Patrick Carter gives us 5 don’ts when it comes to aviation action cameras, and shares why these cameras earned the nickname “Idiot magnets.” Pilots especially need to make sure we aren’t distracted using our cell phones during flight to capture or post footage on social media as well. Case in point is a fatal Cessna 182 pipeline patrol accident in St. Louis, Michigan, from 2021. And, we fly the Beechcraft King Air retrofitted with Garmin’s Autoland.
