Robot Design Lab Uni Bremen
Studying computer science gives opportunities for creating our future world:
#Robot design and control architectures, learning methods and human-centered interaction with robots – the Robotics Group at Faculty 3 of the University of Bremen together with the #DFKI Robotics Innovation Center offer courses from the basics to most advanced concepts in robotics.
The Robot Design Lab is a course for beginners. Here students learn about the software and hardware architecture of robots. To actively teach and learn algorithms for autonomous navigation, M. Sc. Mihaela Popescu and Dr. Teena Hassan set up a hands-on competition for their students in which #TurtleBots had to drive through a maze and use the robot camera to detect geometrical shapes in the environment.
