06 - ServiceNow Dashboards Usecase

hello everyone welcome back to our series of ServiceNow dashboards and data visualization in this series I'm going to cover an use case that helps you explain about dashboards so this is a particular dashboard that I would like to cover which is SPM strategic portfolio management dashboard which integrates key modules such as Project Records, Resource Planning, Time Cards, Resource Allocation, Task Allocation, and management of due dates and planned dates across multiple projects.

This enables efficient management and allocation of resources across multiple projects. Resource managers and project managers can plan resources based on availability, skill sets, and project needs and so on Key features include:

Resource Availability: View real-time availability of team members and ensure they are not over-allocated. For example we do have project teams and the group they're involved in and how our plan for them and also the cost so based on the hours  the particular resources in that team will be allocated.
Skill-based Assignments: so based on the team member skill the other will be assigned to the particular project for example Java developers groups will be they'll be assigned related to Java projects so this is this dashboard as it is segregated based on that.
Capacity Management: Ensure that resource workload is balanced across projects. So  basically it will be based on the hours

So in in this way the total visualized data of the resource and the status of being allocated requested planned and confirmed helps the team helps the resource management manager to allocate to allocate the resources to the particular project.

In conclusion this ServiceNow dashboard for SPM provides a centralized, real-time platform for managing all aspects of projects.

This use case ensures that project managers, resource managers, and executive stakeholders have the tools they need to keep projects on track and meet strategic objectives.
