This Goth or Village is 20 Km from Arabian sea shore . there are very small villages and living in temporary houses.
Goth (Urdu: ـ گوٹھ ‎) means "village" in Sindhi language. Goth is a prefix or postfix in village names in Sindh, Pakistan. Goth can also be a small neighborhood in Karachi populated mainly by the Sindhi people.
and in Punjab village called "Chak number" with postfix of letter DNB,BC, DB etc, these postfix are short form of water canal names which feed water to agriculture land of that village, like DNB means Dera Nawab Branch ( canal name ) and DB means Desert Branch (canal)
this video is filmed in Sindh near seabed , during heavy rains or floods sea water comes there and underground water level is very close to ground , some time 3 feet too. and water is acidic and salty that's why fired bricks or RCC houses can not survive here.
so the resident of this area collect some piece of wood, tree branches and bamboo to build structure and then they plaster with mud.
last time this area was affected in 2010 and 2012. and due to upper water level , light rains also cause flood situation because of water can not penetrate in soil.
these peoples are related to agriculture and cattle farming, only rice crops are well grown here and some wild bushes that only grow in this area are very healthy and beneficial for buffaloes, that's why in this area Dist. Badin, Dist sajwal and thatta buffalo and goat farming are very beneficial and more milk production.
