Bobcat Release

In this video, we release a small female bobcat using a catch pole. Some folks use a sheet of plywood or a Tupperware tote. However, it’s not feasible for us to carry those items to the locations we trap. A bobcat’s jugular vein runs very close to the skin. When releasing with a catch pole, please do it the correct way in order to keep from injuring or killing the animal.
