Extremely Simple Set + Extremely Good Location = SUCCESSFUL PREDATOR TRAPPING

When you find locations like this make sure you set them. We used a drag setup on this location for two reasons.
1. Because it’s heavily traveled.
2. To preserve the set location

Often, especially new trappers, want to make things more complicated than they need to be. Don’t spend too much time at your set trying to make sure it looks perfect. We say it over and over again, but there’s a lot of truth to the K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple, Stupid) Method. For example, we took a couple rocks, placed them in a known travel path, smeared some lure on them and bedded a trap in the middle of them. There’s absolutely nothing complicated about this set whatsoever, but this same set has produced four coyotes in five days. Give it a try and see what happens. Tight chains!
