2018 Iditarod Dogsled Race Video
Raw unedited video footage shot in stunning 4K (some 720X240fps included) of the 2018 Iditarod Dogsled race start in Anchorage, Alaska on 3/3/18 This video includes various teams participation in the 1049 mile dogsled race to Nome Alaska. The ceremonial start in Anchorage will be followed by the re-start in Willow, Alaska on 3/4/18. This years race is marked by significant controversy with the absence of last years race winner Dallas Seavey who withdrew amid continuing controversies surrounding race officials, directors and questions of inaccurate test results and dog team safety. Also present at this years start, the organization PETA who has planned protests around the treatment of dogs in the race. No matter the controversy and the field, this years race is guaranteed to have many twists and turns along the trail to Nome!
