The Siberian Husky And Alaskan Malamute

The Siberian Husky is a medium size working dog breed that originated in north-eastern Siberia, Russia.The breed belongs to the Spitz genetic family.It is recognizable by its thickly furred double coat, erect triangular ears, and distinctive markings.
The Alaskan Malamute is a large breed of domestic dog (Canis lupus familiaris) originally bred for hauling heavy freight because of their strength and endurance, and later a sled dog. They are similar to other arctic breeds, such as the Greenland dog, Canadian Eskimo Dog, the Siberian Husky, and the Samoyed.
Working dog, sleigh dog and racing dog.
Character: Lively and active but as an adult behaves in a reserved way.
Particularity: During the winter of 1925, Leonhard Seppala, a Norwegian driver and his huskies brought diptheria serum to Nome in Alaska in a heroic and successful drive to prevent an epidemic. -
