We offer this video as a follow-up to our "1/2 Acre Food Forest with Swales" video we uploaded a couple months back. The previous footage got us some great feedback and we received a lot of questions about installing swales & what that actually means/entails.

In this clip, Pete demonstrates how to use a laser sight level to map out the contours of the sloping property. The purpose of this craft is too slow the water runoff & keep all of the rainwater on the property for long-term storage, thereby creating a living cistern to support the plants we installed.
