Swale Evolution
Mar 2017
One season's evolution of a new set of swales in the Ozarks of Missouri.
I am wrongly calling the yellow flower in the video echinacea but it is actually Rudbeckia amplexicaulis, "Clasping coneflower", I believe.
There is a local Ozark echinacea that is yellow here.
We seeded the berms with yarrow, sage, lemon balm, bee balm, and a coneflower mix.
