Fiona Verisqa - 3 Minute Thesis presentation 2022
UCL PhD student, Fiona Verisqa, presents: 'The best of both worlds: Can we combine 3D printable materials for joint regeneration?'
It's now possible to 3D print body parts to replace totally or partially damaged
organs due to injuries or diseases. Artificial organs like ears heart and bones can be 3D printed by choosing the right material and the right 3D printing technique. It is important to find the perfect
match between the tissue and the print material. Fiona's research is focused on finding a
3D printing technique and repeating material for joint regeneration.
