Pouring A New Foundation For Our Self Built Home

In this episode we are forming up and pouring the footers on the South and East side of our self-built home. Once all of the footers have cured, we will frame up the concrete walls that will finish where the 8x8 beams on the bottom of our house are. Then, we will have a solid base to attach stone to our foundation. While there is nothing wrong structurally with our current pier footers, getting the underside of our home close in is a requirement of our home owners insurance and there is no better base to attach stone to than concrete! Its a major DIY project but we will get it done!
