Finishing The Great Room

Remember all those unfinished planking corners that have been driving you nuts? Well, now that the floors are finished we can build the faux beams to finish off the dormer corners! The beams frame the great room and complete the look with plenty of character. Unfortunately, being that we are novice home builders we have run into an issue with the final kitchen dormer beam. If you have any suggestions on how we can remedy the issue we are all ears! For now, we are going to drop back to the drawing board, try to figure out a solution and also get the washer and dryer permanently installed in the house.
