Your personal page gets a lot of engagement, so it might be tempting to use it as your business page as well. What better way to gain easy follows than to start with people that follow you already, right?

Not really.

Having a separate business page is absolutely necessary. It makes people look at your page and think, "That's a legit business!"

There’s also plenty of benefits to using Facebook for business. It gives you a lot of insights and helps you reach your customers in a more targeted way. This counts for other social media platforms too.

And sure, you may have to pay to play, but that's not a bad thing because after all, your business’s social media positioning is key!
