Glulam Structure Pt.1 - Making varying geometry beams

My next big project is a glulam structure which will hang from a ceiling on an airport terminal. I had to think of a way to quickly trace a large number of beam outlines on to plywood surface, each with different curvature.. I used a spring cylinder used for push-opening and closing drawers. I replaced the magnet with a soft pencil and attached it to robot arm. Then I simply traced each outline to flat plywood surface. Each outline is used for 4 or 8 beams of same geometry. For that reason, I welded an 12 cm extension to the steel pieces I used in previous videos. This way I can glue two beams at once. For gluing, I used a two component melamine glue. After drying, each mold is returned to robot table to the same position so the holes can be precisely drilled and final geometry of the beams milled. After milling, beams are planed down to 5 cm and the whole process is repeated.
