Experience Edo Era Tokyo - Fukagawa Edo Museum

Julian and Yasu visit the Fukagawa Edo Museum (深川江戸資料館) which features a realistic recreation of an Edo Period village, giving you an excellent experience of Edo Era Japan. Fukagawa is a traditional downtown located on the eastern side of Tokyo.

Compared to its much bigger and better-known cousin called the Edo Hakubutsukan which draws huge crowds and can be a bit overwhelming at times, the Fukagawa Edo Museum is a much more reasonable sized museum in which an entire Edo Period village has been recreated.

Overall, the Fukagawa Edo Museum is definitely worth visiting that offers a great immersive experience and a better understanding of the Edo Period.
