Sorghum maturity determination for grain and forage

While at one of our demos I was able to detail how to check for sorghum maturity in grain development.

Looking at both grain and forage sorghum we can see the stage of the crop and how to time harvest. Maturity selection is vital to correct hybrid selection, and can help navigate end of season decisions. In forage sorghum crops it is amplified because of the need to maximize nutrient qualities.
