Vico Sotto | State of the City Address (LAST 5 MINUTES OF SPEECH)

In 1.5 years since reforms were introduced to the City's procurement/bidding in October 2019, over 2.3 BILLION PESOS has been reduced in costs, when compared to old prices. Projects of the same (or better) quality are costing the city an average of 20% less than in 2018.

(Much of this money has been put to good use, such for the city's Supplemental Social Amelioration Program. The rest will be used next year.)

In this clip, towards the end of his State of the City Address, Mayor Vico challenges Pasig to press forward in the fight for positive change in our society, despite the challenges, looking forward to a brighter future for the Next Generation of Pasigueños.
