Recipe ⬇️
Ingredients ~
1. Coconut stuffing with jaggery
2. Maida semolina slurry
3. Sunflower oil - to deep fry
4. White sugar - 1 cup
5. Water - 1 & 1/2 cup
6. Nolen gur - for garnishing
Process ~
1. In a pan put sugar and water together and sear until the sugar melts to create a heavy syrup texture
2. Roll the coconut jaggery stuffing into round balls and press gently to flatten the stuffing
3. Create a semi thick slurry using maida, ghee, semolina, jaggery and milk
4. Dip the balls in the slurry and coat evenly from both the sides
5. Deep fry them in oil in medium flame until both sides are fried well
6. Once 98% fried, pick them and dip them in sugar syrup
7. Let these soak for 5-10 minutes or until well soaked
8. Garnish with nolen gur on top
