Finbox Review & How to Research Stocks
Welcome to Stock Investment Analysis. In my last video, I showed how I use a custom excel sheet to do research on stocks and compare investments. A lot of people showed interest, and some were curious about how long it takes me to set up a sheet like this. The answer is just a few minutes, and I will demonstrate how in this video. I will also review a very useful investment research tool called Finbox in this video. The tools have been great, and I want to show you how this tool can improve your own research and hopefully increase your future investment returns.
Before I get into showing you how to add data to an excel sheet like mine, I want to thank you all for watching my videos, liking, and subscribing. I have really appreciated this, and I love talking to you all in the comments. It’s been a lot of fun for me, and I hope you are benefiting as well.
To illustrate how I gather data, I switch my Excel sheet from Walmart (WMT) and Target (TGT) to Coca Cola (KO) and Pepsi (PEP) using Finbox, Finviz, and Fast Graphs stock screener tools. The stock screening features are very helpful when gathering a large amount of data quickly. In this video, I also show Finbox’s features such as their stock screener, watchlists, ideas feature which highlights many portfolios, templates, data explorer, and charts. To illustrate, I demonstrate many of the features by examining the dividend yield and dividend growth of Pepsi (PEP), Coca Cola (KO), Proctor and Gamble (PG), Kimberly Clark (KMB), Clorox (CLX), and General Mills (GIS).
That wraps up our overview of some of Finbox’s features. For me, the sheer number of data variables, many of which I have not found on other screeners, is what really sets it apart. However, the ideas page and templates are very cool and unique and not something I have found with the other tools I use. I also like the large number of international stocks they include which makes their screener more internationally useful. If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments, and I am happy to do my best to answer them. Please subscribe to my channel because I am making new videos for you every week. As always, good luck with your investing.
