The Make Your Family a Team Quest and Passport are an invitation to play.
They are built to support your autonomy as a family, to guide your own team in the directions that work best for you.
I call this a framework to freedom.
Just enough structure to easily get you started, but with encouragement built in to make these missions your own.
The invitation is both to play in more commonly thought of ways, like being silly and role-playing, but also to play with the idea of making your family a team.
To see the process of connecting and building deeper relationships as something that is always growing & changing. Where you can try things out, for a few minutes or days, making little & big changes as needed, until you find a good fit for your family right now.
I’m hopeful that some families will be able to easily slip right into this kind of play, but I also know the importance of community support to help build & maintain a practice.
That’s one of the key reasons that I’ve created the Autonomy Adventurers Club.
I want it to be a space that offers threads of connection to a common goal, as well as prompts, ideas & reminders to help make the intention of “quality time” with your family a reality.
Picture a practice of self-discovery as a family team. Fun quarterly quests that take you all out of the daily grind and into some guided, collaborative play.
Activities that are flexible enough to engage your whole family. Solo extended missions for kids to head off on their own independent play adventures. All in service of making your home a safe & supportive space to belong & be yourselves.
