In this diy timber framing video, we continue to construct the cabin in the woods in the Smoky Mountains using both modern and traditional hand tools and are beginning work on the cabin floor but are first adding angle iron plates at all joints of the post and beam for added strength before setting the floor joists. It is coming along well and hope you follow us through the complete building videos to the final stage of the cabin, future barn, root cellar, chicken house and other structures on the homestead.
