Remember The Telephone? Amazing Old Phone Footage.

Back in the 1980s, I worked as an independent filmmaker and communications consultant for AT&T (we used to call it the phone company). I collected this footage from their archives and have put it together in a montage that old folks like me will remember – at least a part of this history. When I was a kid we still had a party line (look it up as it was pretty funny, even back then). 10 years from now I believe we will look at the most modern cell phone as history and kids growing up then will barely know what it was. I do hope that those watching this sit back and just let the video play out. I didn't make it to be particularly informative, but just a chance to think of the passing of recent history and this essential technology and how it has grown into a huge industry and affected our lives.
