CANADA WIDE SHOUT OUT **Jenny McQueen**

Welcome to the first Canada Wide vegan activist Shoutout! I thought it would be a nice idea if I was to focus a shout out specifically for us Canadians. Not because we are anymore important, its only to bring the spotlight on Activists who are making a difference here in our Country and to bring support their way!

My first spotlight is on Jenny McQueen!! If you don’t know her by now, get ready to be impressed and inspired! Jenny has been a vegan and an Activist since the early 90’s and has been making waves of change where ever she goes. She is originally from the U.K, residing in Toronto, she helps rescue animals, she co-founded “Animal Rights Toronto”, she is a member of Direct Action Everywhere (DXE) and volunteers with PETA, the Animal Save Movement and other animal rights organization.

Jenny started the “ZipOffTheCruelty" campaign a few years ago to encourage people to donate their fur. Since that time a huge portion of the fur has been donated to wildlife rehabilitation centers and she has dropped off multiple fur coats to the Buffalo Exchange stores in the U.S for the “Coast for Cubs” program. She has documented videos of orphaned cubs being comforted by the donated fur, truly a beautiful site.

Today Jenny is currently campaigning against the recently introduced “AG-GAG” bill that was introduced 2 days before Activist Regan Russell was run over by a transport truck. She is always fighting for the rights of animals....she will always be A Voice for the Animals.
