So… We Know How VERDANSK IS RETURNING to WARZONE... (But There's a Catch...)

Warzone’s first and fan favorite map Verdansk has been long rumored to be returning to Warzone at some time. Whether it’s because of dissatisfaction with Caldera, whether it be to relive the classic, fans have asked for Verdansk back for a long while. We’ve had hints and teases of its return from those working with Activision and Warzone, but nothing really substantial or concrete. That is… Until today. Earlier today, leakers dropped gameplay of Warzone Mobile, what looks to be the early Alpha playtests of the mobile experience and on a map that we know all too well: Verdansk. So, there it is. Verdansk is indeed confirmed and Verdansk is returning to Warzone, but unfortunately for console and PC players, it's not in the way that we had necessarily hoped. This looks to be the Warzone experience for mobile now, seeing Verdansk return for Warzone Mobile (otherwise known as Project Aurora). Warzone mobile has not ETA for release just yet, but it seemingly falls in line with all the other teases and hints we’ve seen so far: Verdansk seen in the Warzone mobile concept art, the Verdansk being in the tac map found in COD Mobile, Verdansk being hinted at coming “sometime next year” to Warzone on some platforms… it's all been tehre and we’re finally starting to see the puzzle come together.
