***In this video we talk about the importance of a jump starter. While "something" is typically better than nothing, some of the cheap amazon jump starters are only as good as "nothing". They might not save you in an emergency situation. When you remote camp in lightly trafficked area, help my never pass by. Do you have cellphone reception to call for help? Are you close enough to civilization to hike and get cellphone reception? Do you have a radio that can make a transmission to call for help? Do you know what frequencies to get on to call for help? In the case of a dead car battery, a portable jump starter can save your life without having to deal with all those "what ifs"! This is my first video of a video series I want to start called "Essential Overlanding Gear".
