Gettysburg Turns Back the Clock | 19th Century Base Ball Festival

For one weekend each summer, Gettysburg turns back the clock.

The Gettysburg National 19th Century Base Ball Festival brings clubs from across the United States together to play the game as it was played in 1864—using period uniforms, equipment, rules, and customs from America's past.

No modern gloves. No million-dollar contracts. Just the game as generations before us knew it.

The 2026 Gettysburg National 19th Century Base Ball Festival will be held July 18-19 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
