Big thanks to our friends Butch & Deb for the wax. This was a fun thing to try!

Also, big thanks to the online beekeeping YouTube pages. If I had listened to your advice and maybe taken some notes, the candle might have turned out better.

Our friends Butch & Deb hooked us up with some sweet wax from Butch's beehive colonies, and it was our job to process/render the wax and then make something cool from it.

My wife makes wares and sells them online, so we thought we could maybe sell our wax creation through her dedicated network of fans and customers. Me, on the other hand, am a bum. She hustles and makes money and I wanted to be a part of it, so I dove into the arts & craft & decor industry head first this morning. I retired from the industry early this afternoon. My goal of making a boutique candle didn't work out, and maybe I'm better off operating equipment for now.

Our intent was to make a video to show you how to DIY a candle using rendered wax. The result was a video to show you how NOT to DIY a candle.
