going to a workaway property has really helped us when we are super tight. right now we are at a workaway in italy. the workaway.info network has been a saviour for us at times. We don't use workaway only as a safety net, it is also a great way to experience a new culture, sharing time and food and work with your hosts is wonderful, most of the time.

Budget travel can be tough, especially when you're traveling on a budget with your family.

Traveling with kids makes it even more of an issue if you run out of money while you are traveling because you have to make sure they are ok. Fortunately we have always managed to make sure they get what they need, even if we have had to go without sometimes.
