Sir Keith Rodney Park was one of the unsung heroes of the Battle of Britain. Commanding 11 Group Fighter Command, the New Zealander Air Chief Marshal was responsible for the defence of London and South-East England. His squadrons bore the brunt of the fighting.
In this 1961 interview, he discusses the political manoeuverings that resulted in Hugh Dowding and Park himself being removed from their Fighter Command posts at the end of the battle.
