Fairies & Bunny Rock Painting Tutorial - PART 3 - "Revealing the Image"

In this video, PART 3, I will demonstrate how to peel the freezer paper https://amzn.to/2TTT1M6 off of the rock to reveal the image.

After printing the images from your inkjet printer and allowing them to dry (for an hour), I took a paint brush and covered the image surface (inked side) with Mod Podge Matte Gel Medium (it looks white, but it will dry clear because it's a sealant) https://amzn.to/2Xh1idD.

While the Mod Podge was still wet on the image surface, I placed it face down onto my rock, which had previously been painted with white acrylic paint that dried onto the surface of the rock. The reason you will have painted the rock with white acrylic paint is so that the color from the printed image will pop when it is peeled back and revealed. If the background was darker, you wouldn’t see the ink brightly.

So after the white paint was applied and dried the first time, I then covered my rock's surface with Mod Podge and allowed it to dry before I placed the image with another coat of Mod Podge (while it was wet this time) face down onto the rock.
