Vienna Christmas Markets & Museums (Austria Vlog)

Welcome back to VIENNA AUSTRIA, our 27th country on our round the world trip! In this video, we hit the tourist trail once again to explore Vienna’s Museum Quarter and festive VIENNA CHRISTMAS MARKETS.

After starting our day with a delicious ramen lunch at Mari’s Metcha Matcha, we head to the Schmetterlinghaus (Butterfly House). This art nouveau green house houses hundreds - thousands? - of butterflies. You cannot miss this place! The Vienna Butterfly House is part of the Hofburg Royal Palace and is situated on the edge of the Burggarten palace gardens, just by the Albertina Art Museum

Moving on, we take a guided tour of the Hofburg Palace Imperial Apartments and Sisi Museum. We highly recommend the guided tour, which happens everyday at 2 PM. Next we stop for a pick-me-up at Sperl Cafe, one of VIenna’s classic cafes where coffees and pastries abound! Once caffeinated we have a night at the museum, exploring Vienna’s Natural History Museum. On Wednesdays, the Natural History Museum stays open until 9 PM so there's plenty of time to roam the exhibits.

With one final stop at another Vienna Christmas Market and a beautiful Mozart concert at Mozarthaus we finish up an incredible week in #Vienna #Austria. Stay tuned for our next vlog in Prague, Czechia! As always, we’ll see you in our next video as we Keep Going Places!
