Epoxy Pour on a 2x4 Table // What To Do If Epoxy Bubbles

During this episode of Second Son Woodworks, I take a 2x4 table I built last year, links below, and refinish with a table top epoxy.

This table had been worn down by the weather in Santa Barbara over the year. Because I live close to the ocean, there is moisture every night and morning that covers everything outside. Likewise, the sun during the summer months can get pretty brutal. All in all, the polyurethane I applied when I first made the table didn't hold up, which I anticipated.

So I lugged the big glue lam table back into my shop and applied the table top epoxy.

Since there were so many cracks and holes in the table from the weather, the process of applying this epoxy was pretty difficult to say the least. I had to do four separate coats!

But during this process I learned a lot about how this epoxy works. So make sure to watch the entire video to pick up on all the tips and tricks I have to share!
