A new feline addition to PaperHaven246’s life: stray cat

A stray cat wandered into my life on December 22nd. She appeared outside the patio door, scrawny and dirty, obviously needing nourishment and love. Being a mountain dweller, I was not surprised barn cats show up somewhere else when they lose their home for whatever reason. What surprised me was my willingness to take care of her given I am highly allergic to cats. Antihistamines and Flonase, and constant handwashing had been working for me. The way she makes me smile is worth the hassles .
Meet Gala (pronounced Gah-Lah). Her name means ‘wander’ or ‘stray’ in Tagalog.
I do, however, hope she stays for quite awhile.
I already trained her to use her handmade beds and napping mats, scratching post, and to take short walks with me.
I had been busy watching @JacksonGalaxy videos to learn how to take care of this beautiful creature who adopted me. Definitely not a tortoise or a tarantula 🐈‍⬛
