This altered book has all the pages from Mary O’Neill’s book of color poetry titled Hailstones and Halibut Bones. This colorful journal is 8.5 x 6.5 x 3 inches.
It has 10 signatures and approximately 62 double-sided pages not counting the 12 double sided poetry pages. It has pockets, flips, tucks and absolutely tons of room for journaling or photographs.
Some special features include bead charms, dictionary definitions of each color, and music sheet of songs related to some of the colors featured.
The cover is recycled fabric from a make up bag and the closure is broadcloth ribbon stamped with permanent ink.

There is a mixture of coffee dyed construction papers and scrapbook papers which I stenciled with random designs.
