Emotional intelligence. Confidence. Boundaries. Self-worth. These things matter — and a lot of us are out here trying to learn them at 25, 30, 35 instead of being taught them early.

That’s not an accident. It’s a gap. And it’s one that shows up everywhere — in our relationships, our parenting, how we move through the world, how we talk to ourselves when nobody’s watching.

I spent years picking up pieces I should’ve had from the start. Figuring out in real time what healthy looked like. Learning boundaries by crossing them first. Building confidence after it had already taken hits. And I’m not unique in that — so many of us are doing the same thing.

That’s exactly why the work I do with girls means everything to me.

At Evolving with Ka’Cheena & Co., I work with young girls to make sure they have what so many of us didn’t. The emotional language. The self awareness. The confidence and sense of worth that doesn’t depend on who’s in the room or who’s watching. The tools to set boundaries without guilt and move through life knowing who they are.

Because if we can give them that early — they don’t have to spend their adult years rebuilding from scratch.

This is personal for me. This work is personal for me. And that’s exactly why I show up for it the way I do.
