Kyoto Arashiyama. Bamboo Forrest, a scenic train ride and the famous macaques. Kyoto is amazing. I thought it would be a sleepy hamlet in the foot hills, but it is a massive city. There’s about 1.5 million people living in Kyoto... and they all seem to be at the central train station this afternoon.
