Douglas Trumbull talks about the making of 2001: A Space Odyssey

At the age of 23 Douglas Trumbull flew to London to meet with Stanley Kubrick about the making of his 2001 film. This interview conducted by Piers Bizony and the curator of the exhibit on 2/16/2020 at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City before a 70mm screening of the film. The museum is hosting a traveling exhibit: Envisioning 2001: Stanley Kubrick's Space Odyssey.
