REALTOY Range Rover P38A custom

Similar to the Land Rover Discovery I recently customised, Realtoy did an great job with their P38A Range Rover. The casting itself was very detailed and allowed me to go to town on it with plenty of matt black plastic for the bumpers. What let it down where the wheels which were borrowed from other road cars in Realtoy's range and the ride height was much too low. I fixed that by replacing them and a straightened axle bumped that ride height up a bit.

The model replicates the P38A generation Range Rover which spanned 1994 to 2001. It was a modern take on the 24-year-old platform it replaced, though it wasn't revolutionary, and it was plagued by unreliability. At the time, its looks were criticised in the motoring media, but I think they have aged quite well.

For my custom version, I changed the colour from a dark blue which I really wasn't much of a fan of to a dark green teamed with a beige leather-style interior with walnut trim. That replaced the previously grey interior plastic which again was extremely well moulded just like the Realtoy Disco.
