RBMK Reactors - Design Overview | The Nuclear Reactor that was used in Chernobyl
In the video, I used several vague terms such as "western reactors". Just ignore that lol, and I wasn't being very specific when I said that they have relatively higher enrichment of U-235. That was just some bad wording by me:(. CANDU reactors use slightly enriched Uranium with U-235 enrichment of ~0.9%.
Another thing is, the amount of details regarding RBMK reactors are just too much to put into a single video. So, this video is merely an oversimplified explanation. The sources I have put down below are for those who wants to dig in deeper into this. Also, feel free to add more materials and correct me in whatever I said in the video in the comments down below. Though, please do include sources so that we can clarify.
